FURLERS
An easy-working, dependable furling system is a must for modern racers and performance-oriented cruisers. It lets you smoothly unfurl your headsail in light air instead of hoisting a large genoa, and trim from the cockpit when it blows. All this while maintaining great sail shape and optimal boat speed. If you’re sailing shorthanded or solo, the MKIV is a reliable ‘crew’ member.
MKIV furlers feature multiple rows of free-rolling Torlon® ball bearings in high-load areas, computer-designed stacked bearing races and large-diameter drums for smooth reefing and furling. A free-spinning, high-strength halyard swivel reduces weight aloft to minimize pitching
and heeling. Independent head and tack swivels shape the sail when partially furled.
The aluminum line guard, torque tube and swivels are deep-saturation Hardkote anodized for
strength and durability, with a black additive for no-fade UV stabilization and corrosion protection.
ROPES AND CORDAGE
We stock a full size and colour range of ropes suitable for any boat from dinghies to 80’ yachts. We choose specific ropes from Marlow rope manufacturers for the specific needs of a particular rope on a boat. For instance, we would use a low stretch polyester braid for a cruising main or genoa halyard, but a standard polyester braid on braid for a spinnaker halyard, or boom topping lift.
Due to the volume of rope we buy and stock, we are also very competitive on our finished product.

Sailing clothing, deck shoes, yacht chandlery, marine electronics, inflatable boats and other sailing equipment. We regularly have special offers on chandlery, antifouling and clothing. We offer free delivery in the UK on all orders over £100.00. Our rigging division is highly experienced and work on boats from 12' - 125', we have our own pontoon. crane & workboat and we are on call for yachtsmen seven days a week.
